Life in Kingston.

So many things have happened since I last updated this blog. Currently, I'm in Kingston ON, Canada on exchange and have been for the last 3 months. So many defeats and successes took place here, which I'm currently not in the mood to talk about. Life here is definitely different from the one in Denmark, but I'm enjoying every single second of it. That I can say for sure. So many good and long-lasting friendships have been established, which I never would have dreamed of... As people often say, time flies when you are in good company, and indeed I have had a good time, which only makes me sadder when I have to go home to Denmark in 3 weeks.

I'm speechless, but not because I'm in a sad mood. On the contrary, I am ecstatic.

I found this piano piece today, which I have been looking for, but never knew the title of. Whenever I listened/listen to it , it always reminds me of something peaceful and melancholic.

I will let whoever who visits my blog enjoy this indescribably eccentric piece by Erik Satie, one of the greatest pianists and composers from the 19th century.

London, here I come!

YES YES YES! I will be in London from April 8th and I'm soo looking forward to it. It's kinda unbelievable that I've never been there even though I only live 1 hour and 50 min. away by plane. I need a break from DK, exams, ilnesses etc. So what's better than shopping in London and meanwhile try to forget all my complaints?

Piano pieces like this one makes me wonder why I chose to study Business

I truly love sad piano pieces. Wonder why? I have no definitive answer. But what I know is that melancholic melodies make me relax and enable me to escape from whatever I'm doing in my everyday life, which seems at times to be meaningless.
I wish I could play the piano, the violin or even the Chinese instrument Gu Qin. Music is truly the way to express one's state of mind. If I had just discovered this fact long time ago, I don't think I would study business and economics. I'd probably work hard to compose beautiful music like the one I'm posting here.
Btw.. The scenes in the video are from the movie 'A millionaire's first love'. I will not deny that it's a chick flick, but it is a recommended movie. As one should notice by now, I'm very much into Korean movies and dramas. If you are as much into sad piano pieces then watching Korean movies is a must.
